Alastair Greenfield

Biography

Alastair is a Director at WY Partners.

With more than eight years of M&A experience, Alastair has a broad depth of expertise having worked on transactions on the buy-side, sell-side and fundraisings. He is passionate about the media and technology sectors where he has advised a variety of stakeholders ranging from entrepreneurs, to private equity investors and large multi-nationals.

At WY Partners, Alastair has worked on a number of successful M&A transactions spanning over a variety of sectors including Brainlabs’ acquisition of Distilled, Cheetah Digital acquiring Wayin, Fold7’s sale to Miroma, BGF’s investment into LoopMe and Jellyfish’s acquisition of The ASO Co.

Prior to joining the firm, he spent six years at PwC in London and Madrid advising on M&A transactions as part of the Technology, Media & Telecoms team.

Alastair is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a Bachelor’s degree (BA Hons) in Economics & Spanish from Durham University. He is a fluent Spanish speaker.
